Book Review-Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by JK Rowling

Harry is given a warning of danger by Dobby the demented house elf to tell him not to return to Hogwarts, and his interference with their arrival at school almost gets Harry and Ron expelled.Soon a monster is unleashed in the castle and starts attacking muggle-borns and Harry finds himself as prime suspect. To clear his name he must brave the dark forest and its creatures to find the true attacker.

In this book we are introduced to the brilliant Professor Lockhart who is completely useless, poor sad Dobby who you could just cuddle and the slimy Mr Malfoy. Is it any wonder that Draco turned out the way he did? I did enjoy Mr Weasley thumping Mr Malfoy in the bookshop-that was fun! I liked how Harry was under suspicion from his so-called friends but really how thick were the students? A boy with a muggle born best pal is NEVER going to be the attacker!!! How long did it take them to notice that no Slytherins were attacked, hmmm? Moaning Myrtle was good fun, and it was nice to find out that Hagrid was expelled for a crime he did not commit. But honestly Hagrid, what is it with you and your monsters???!!! Who can blame Ron for being afraid of THOSE spiders???? I'm scared stiff of even the smallest hairy wee bugger!
